Wherever you are in your life process, and whatever you are going through, I hope to meet you there and support you in your own unfolding.  I offer in-person 50 minute sessions in my Santa Fe office, as well as virtual or phone sessions.  My fee is $100 per session and I accept most major insurance. Feel free to call me with any questions and for an initial no-cost consultation.  You can leave a message on my confidential voicemail at: (505) 699-3681.

As I sit with clients, I carry the assurance that human life has purpose and that it continuously strives to find its unique fulfillment.  Despite the best efforts of our ego-driven consciousness, this purpose manifests in our lives regardless—often in the form of emotional difficulty and even psychological pathology.  As we learn to be in relationship with the unconscious and our inner nature, this purpose can finally find healthy expression in our lives.

The encounter and unfolding relationship with one’s own nature is both deeply profound and simply ordinary.  Working with patients, I attempt to hold the tension of this paradox, knowing that the most basic of human struggles are deeply meaningful.  At the same time, even the most spiritual of insights need to be grounded in the reality of everyday earthiness.  My clinical approach as a therapist relies on this paradox.

I am convinced both personally and professionally that dreams convey messages from the greater personality—messages that, in the long run, point towards wholeness and greater integration.  One of the challenges is that these dream messages can initially be uncomfortable, revealing shadow aspects of ourselves.  Coming to terms with the truth in our lives is often painful, yet it is also the very thing that brings relief from our suffering.  The messages from our dreaming selves are honest, wise, and healing, and I have found that working with dreams and imagination can help us align more closely with our own authenticity.
